Traverse City is home to the National Cherry Festival. Every year more than 500,000 attendees enjoy the festival, which is in its 90th year. This year, two of EPI’s team members participated in the Cherry Tee golf clinic, hosted by the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
“Getting to work with other local Traverse City businesses, as a team was a great part of this event,” said Marty Raymond, Sales here at EPI.
Another huge event that takes place here in our home town is the Northwestern Michigan Fair. This event has been around since 1908 and its sole purpose is to celebrate the area’s agriculture and youth programs. This year EPI sponsored Kingsley resident, 9-year-old, Rylee Brown. Rylee has been in 4H for four years. He is a 5th generation farmer and has quite the mechanical mind when it comes to tinkering with things. “My favorite part of having a cow at the fair is the beef jerky!” Rylee says. When he grows up he wants to join the military.
Good luck Rylee!
